Polini Motori rivoluziona il concetto di pedalata assistita e presenta il motore Polini E-P3+ per e-bike.
Un motore innovativo, di nuova generazione, con il segno + (PLUS) a indicare le novità e l’importante passo in avanti realizzato grazie alla continua analisi, l’attento studio e l’impegno nella progettazione, sempre alla ricerca delle migliori performance.
Leggero, potente e compatto il motore Polini E-P3+ ha un ingombro laterale tra i più ridotti della categoria ed eroga una coppia di 75 Nm nella versione E-P3+ (Road) e 90 Nm nel modello MX (specifico per MTB) per i clienti più esigenti. Il suo peso è di soli 2950 gr e dispone di 5 mappature di cui 3 prestabilite e 2 interamente configurabili:
•touring: dolce e progressiva, ideale per un utilizzo quotidiano e maggiore durata di autonomia;
•dynamic: dal carattere sportivo, ma allo stesso tempo naturale e preciso;
•race: senza compromessi, una vera e propria mappa da gara, per offrire il massimo delle prestazioni (set up messo a punto attraverso l’esperienza fatta nelle gare sia del Campionato World Series che del Campionato Italiano FMI);
•custom 1/custom 2: completamente configurabili dall’utente tramite l’app per smartphone, che sarà disponibile da autunno 2021.
L’elettronica è totalmente innovativa e sfrutta algoritmi di derivazione Motorsport.
Il software PDC “Polini Dynamic Control” è stato sviluppato con 4 obbiettivi:
1precisione di erogazione della coppia di assistenza sempre in funzione dello sforzo applicato dal ciclista sui pedali;
2reattività nel seguire le variazioni di pedalata;
3riduzione del tempo di risposta da parte del motore quando si inizia a pedalare portando a zero il tempo di interruzione di spinta nel momento in cui si smette di pedalare;
4incremento assistenza attiva fino a 120 RPM.
Il display TFT Polini è di facile lettura grazie a uno schermo a colori da 2,5 pollici adattive light, ovvero con adattamento automatico del colore e dell’intensità in base alla luce dell’ambiente. Inoltre mostra in maniera accurata la potenza di pedalata del ciclista, la cadenza, la potenza del motore e il residual range.

Polini Motori revolutionizes the concept of pedal-assist and presents the new Polini E-P3+ motor for e-bikes.
An innovative and last generation motor, with the “+” sign (PLUS) to underline the novelties and the important step forward thanks to the never ending analysis, the study and commitment in designing it, always looking for better performance.
Light, powerful and compact, Polini E-P3+ motor features a very reduced volume and it exploit a 75Nm torque in the E-P3+ (ROAD) and 90 Nm in the MX model (for MTB) for the most demanding users. It weights 2950 grams and it has 5 maps, 3 pre-set ones and 2 maps to be set:
– Touring: gentle and progressive, ideal for the daily use and more operating time.
– Dynamic: sportive soul, but at the same time natural and punctual
– Race: without setting for compromise, a real racing map, to offer the best performance (set up coming from the experiences acquired during both the World Series Championship and FMI Italian Championship).
– Custom 1/Custom 2: fully configurable by the user though the APP for smartphone available from Autumn 2021.
The electronic is really innovative and it uses algorithms coming from Motorsport origin.
The “Polini Dynamic Control” PDC software has been developed to reach 4 main goals:
Precision of assistance torque output always according to the effort applied by the cyclist on the pedals;
Reactivity to follow the pedaling variations;
Motor response time reduction when starting pedaling reducing to zero the time of interruption of thrust when stop pedaling.
Increase of the active assistance till 120 rpm
The TFT Display is easy to read thanks to the adaptive light 2,5’ color screen, with automatic adaptation of the color and intensity according to the ambient light. Furthermore it shows precisely the cyclist pedaling power, the cadence, the motor power and residual range.
